Who am I?
I’m just an average dude like most of you guys out there. I don’t have a dark past or a messed up childhood; I don’t have an inspirational story of how I hit rock bottom and rose like a phoenix from the ashes into glory. I, like you, come from a humble background—living the middle class life.
One thing that really bothered me was women. I never had any luck with the ladies. I wasn’t outgoing (in fact, I much prefer to be alone—even now), not talkative, didn’t have the charisma or magnetism, wasn’t good looking, wasn’t athletic. I was the definition of “nice guy”. In fact, I had a couple of very good female friends—one of which told me that I was a “gentleman”, always walking about a couple of steps behind ladies, opening doors, and basically being very polite around girls.
At that time, I thought it was a good thing. After all, girls go for nice guys right? Far from true.
It was around 2007 that I stumbled upon the world if pickup. I started off with “The Game” by Neil Strauss, which led me to a lot of other materials aimed at “improving your dating life” and “getting the girl of your dreams”. But even after filling my brain with all these knowledge, nothing changed. Basically, I went through the next couple of years still being the same loser—just with a lot more nonsense clogging up my mind.
On the flip side, I dove into the world of philosophy and religion. I sought the answers to life, and often got into heated “debates” with my friends over topics that ranged over a myriad of philosophical arguments, morality; objectivity, existence of God. My knowledge in philosophy increased, but I had no people skills at all.
Philosophy slowly led to psychology and I started going into a lot of “pop” psychology books on cognitive psychology, sociology, body language, etc. It was around the time when I decided to tackle the dating problem again, this time with full seriousness.
I attended a free workshop by a notable international dating company, and it was there that I met my future mentor. One day, when I was on the shitter, he sent me a text asking me if I was interested to go under his wing and take a course on dating and social dynamics. I was very cash-strapped back then, being an underpaid pawn serving my country, but I decided to go for it anyway.
It would change my life completely.
This all happened really quickly. I met a very solid bunch of guys on the same journey as me, and I have a good mentor who offers very insightful advice on life in general. My only goal in life is to improve myself, and to help those who are just like me, and want to get out of the rut they’re in. I don’t claim to know the answers to everything, but I believe that I have much to offer to you.
My growth and stories is testament to what we can achieve…and this is just the tip of the iceberg. I want to help you reading this improve your life, and I also want to learn from those who are ahead of me in their personal journey. I believe that accountability and having someone to share your experience with is crucial to growth, and that’s why I chose to share my stories with YOU.
I invite you to join me to on a journey to take life by it’s reins and live to the fullest! You only have once chance to live. Make it the Average Dude’s Lifestyle.
Cheers,
